I’ve never had a faster service call. I requested some help with ants between regular appointments which they scheduled for just a couple days out. Then I received a call I didn’t recognize and it was the service tech (Hunter) who said he was in my neighborhood and would be right there. Thanks to Hunter for being alert to an unexpected appointment. The whole thing took maybe 15 mins from when the ant was spotted to when the technician arrived. Thanks ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kolten and A1 pest control have made our concerns about bugs on our property or in our house a complete non-issue. We worked with Nathan on identifying an under house issue and scoping out the work to fix it at our home in Banner Elk. He was extremely responsive, communicative, and thorough. We have an intrusive and destructive groundhog under our house who has caused lots of damage. Nathan patiently walked is through all of the findings, took lots of photos, and talked through a plan. We have had exemplary service from A-1 Pest. Our service contract brings them out quarterly to treat for insects and rodents, but it in the surprises that they excel. Recently a raccoon entered the house while we were away, making quite a mess. Caleb came the same day we called, and identified the outside access points and the route along plumbing lines from room to room so we could seal things up. Previously they treated carpenter ant and stink bug infestations, and a hornet's nest. Mountain living is close to nature, and A-1 helps us keep that nature on the outside of the house!

We’ve been using A-1 for about two years. They’re wonderful. Although included, we never need treatment inside since the outside treatment keeps the pests from getting in.Our technician, Kolton is very thorough. He communicates via text before and after each treatment to make sure any specific needs or concerns are addressed. Kolton even noticed our old dog’s big bark was gone during the first treatment after he passed away and he had the kindest words to say.

I got a telephone call from Joseph this morning letting me know he was going to be in the area of my mountain cabin ( second home) and he offered to go up to it and check to see if everything was okay and he would go ahead and treat my home while he was there. I explained that I live 2 1/2 hours away and had no way to know if it had survived the storm or not. He even offered to take photos of things that might not be okay. I have never experienced this kind of kindness from someone I have never met before . To know that there is someone who cares like this is absolutely wonderful and so affirming! In previous years, we've had to have them come back (which they always do free of charge) but not since Bronson has been our tech. I highly recommend both A-1 and their quarterly service program.
